The popular Chinese cell phone manufacturer Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd recently released a marvelously designed smart phone named Gionee Elife S5.5. The Company is calling itself that the product is world's slimmest Smartphone. Does not matter is it true or false. But it is true that the device is attractively slim and keeping good features.
Gionee Elife S5.5 has a brilliant 5 inch full HD Capacitive touch display, which equipped with the branded Super AMOLED Screen. The display features include 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 441 PPI (Pixels per Inch). The full HD display uses LTPS Corning Gorilla Glass Third Generation Cover for overcoming accidental crashes. The handset is powered by 1.7GHz Octa - core MTK 6592 processor with inbuilt graphic acceleration.
Elife S5.5 runs the popular Google Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Gionee’s Amigo 2.0 UI. The handset comes with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. But there is no expandable memory option.The smart phone provides advanced connectivity options such as 3G, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WI-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG.
The Gionee Elife S5.5 has 13-mega pixel rear shooter with LED flash and a 5 mega pixels front camera for video chatting needs. The main camera on the rear panel, which is able to record full HD (1080p) videos. The Camera also offers some Smart feature such as, burst mode, HDR, Geo-Tagging and many more. The device also powered by a standard 2300 mAh Li-ion, battery which is non removable. The company declares the price of the handset, which is 22999. But there are no words about the availability of the product.
