‘Wireless engine Transfer’ is the name given to this technology. At the same time WiTricity, an American engineering company that manufactures devices for wireless energy transfer using resonant energy transfer, is doing researches on this so that the technology is industrially known as ‘Witricity’. The company is now doing experiments on various electric chargers that can be used in houses, cars, offices etc.
Witricity is nothing but the transfer of electrical energy from one object to another without the aid of wires. The magnetic field created by two copper coils is the basis of the Witrycity Technology. One coil creates a magnetic field by connecting it to a power source, whereas the second one converts those magnetic waves into electricity. It is sure that the companies will soon introduce smartphones, laptops, iPods and other electronic devices using the Witricity technology.
