Google is inviting the whole world to Brazil, the land of soccer, via introducing ‘Street View’ imagery of all the 12 World Cup stadiums. According to Deanna Yick, the Street View program manager, Google map is a ticket to the world cup.
It offers great experiences to the online tourists and those who are unable to go to Brazil for the world cup. Google map not only provides images from the stadiums, but also turns its cameras to the areas near the venues and the other South and Central American countries, including Peru, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
The service also features maps of the airports, malls, and hundreds of interesting sites across Brazil that the football fans may want to explore. Images from the Iguacu National Park and St. Michael of the Missions are already included in this map. Deanna Yick says “if you’re lucky enough to have a physical ticket to Brazil, don’t forget to pack Google Maps for mobile."
The team is taking the street pictures with the aid of roaming camera carrying cars. There is no doubt that the new launch will be a great blessing to the soccer fans across the world.
